Shouhouen is a proud onsen ryokan with its own free flowing, yet private, source of water. For dinner, this restaurant offers up a tasteful course meal with a main dish consisting of specially chosen Hida beef. Their cooking is dependent on the kind of stay you are having, and the time of year, but there are many dishes, from Earthenware Pan Grill, a dish of Hida beef together with steam cooked local vegetables and mushrooms to creative meals thought up by the chef – whichever you choose you will be in for a treat.
