On a plateau that has more than 1000m elevation, “Yamayu Ranch” is well experienced in breeding and fattening cattle. And it is here, where Hida cattle are born and raised, that Hida beef (cow) is matured and served up as teppanyaki or yoganyaki (dishes in which foodstuffs are roasted on a hot natural lava plate) steak. Besides their own original dinner course, there is a casual lunch menu, so it is a good location for different occasions. And for all wine lovers the restaurant is well-stocked with Italian wine.
