Okuhida has one of the highest discharges of water (for an onsen) in Japan, and at this ryokan, you can enjoy a natural onsen which is completely fed from its source. The inside of this building was subject to large-scale renovation in 2015, leaving a modern ambience and a feeling of warmth from the wood, so you will be able to relax quite nicely here. The dining room of the main building is using a 150 year-old architecture which is still in use today. Offering the signature shabu-shabu using the Grade 5 Hida beef, the restaurant has been certified as a designated Hida beef cooking specialist.
