This is the only yakiniku restaurant in the country that specializes in the Nagasaki Wagyu beef ‘Dejima Bara-iro’ beef. Only a small number of cows are bred but approximately 75% are grade 4-5 so this brand of cattle is known for its consistent high quality. The name ‘Bara-iro’ means ‘the color of rose flowers’ and was chosen to refer to the beautiful color of the meat and the thickness of the boned rib cut. (The latter is called ‘bara-niku’.) The natural delicious flavor of the meat and the melt-in-the mouth fat are exquisitely balanced, so why not savor this to your heart’s content in this specialist restaurant?
