This restaurant is right next door to a butcher shop called “Tengu” which was first opened in 1927. They purchase only the most carefully selected and best quality Hida beef, with a stress on A5 ranked (A being the highest rank and 5 indicating excellent) cow meat raised in Gifu Prefecture. Their steak, which you can enjoy the umami (taste) of the meat just as it is, is absolutely fantastic in shabushabu as well. In their shabushabu dish you will be more than satisfied with the fine quality meat and its melting texture. The inside of the restaurant is spacious with relaxed tatami rooms and normal table seating.
