This restaurant was opened in 1927 and offers Japanese cooking such as sukiyaki, shabu-shabu and Kappou. You might notice that the meat served here has an umami (taste) which is delicious yet fatty – this is perhaps due to how they only use a cow herd whose meat has a low melting temperature of fat. Meals are served during the day, while in the evening there is quite a varied menu such as course dinners. There is nothing more satisfying than the calming bliss and charm of dining in a Japanese style private room such as a horigotatsu (a table over a cavity in the floor where one can sit comfortably on the floor).
