This Hida beef cuisine restaurant is in the annex of an old onsen ryokan in Gero called Suihouen. Their stimulating and new sensation of Hida beef course dinner is a fusion of Japanese and Italian cooking. Their steak, which consists of carefully selected Hida beef which is thickly cut, and then grilled on a lava plate from Mount Mitake, is an exceptional dish with amazing taste and texture that is the result of the radioactive lava plate.
