This restaurant’s menu is expansive and the meals incorporate the use of locally grown ingredients from Oita Prefecture. Bungo beef has the good points of having a melt-like taste, which is mild and flavorsome, and here you can eat it in different cooking like Bungo Beef Don, Bungo Beef Steak Pot Rice (rice, meat and vegetable dish served in a small pot), and Bungo Beef Yoganyaki (dishes in which foodstuffs are roasted on a hot natural lava plate) – all of which are very popular. In this restaurant you can sit down and admire the view of Kusugawa River, stretch your legs out under a hori-gotatsu (low table over a hole in the floor covered in a quilt and with a heat source underneath), and even sit by the hearthside. It is the perfect environment for relaxing and enjoying a great meal.
