Introduction of restaurant

For neary 150 years since its founding in Kyoto in 1869, Moritaya has been serving Japanese cuisine featuring carefully selected wagyu, including wagyu raised on its own farm in Kyoto. In addition to sukiyaki and shabu-shabu, another favorite is the restaurant’s original “oil yaki,” which brings out the natural flavor of the meat. The lovingly raised beef from Kyoto and other choice wagyu have been hailed as a work of art for the palate.
